Berlin-based Anne Schramm runs the extensive accessory line Wommelsdorff, whose namesake is her grandmother Maria Wommelsdorff, a passionate craftswoman and patient tutor. Anne designs clean, minimalistic shapes using classic, yet innovative crochet and knitwear stitches. To achieve a fresh approach and innovative surface textures, she experiments with techniques handed down through generations. Wommelsdorff equals cutting-edge, modern accents on pieces which are both timeless and lend a special touch to any stylish wardrobe.

In a series including designs from David Shrigley, Eva Rothschild, Jeremy Deller, Michael Landy and Yayoi Kusama, it is now artist Tracey Emin‘s turn to decorate the cover of 18 million pocket Tube maps, available in stations from June 2012. This 16th edition is the most prolific one so far and was commissioned by the Art on th Underground initiative. Tracey’s design is on display at the London Transport Museum from this Friday.

Since the brand Atsuro Tayama has been founded in Japan in 1982, Paris-based creative director Atsuro Tayama strives to provide fresh new looks with each collection. ‘To mix and not to match’ is his credo, whether this is with soft and hard materials, sporty or classy approaches or old and new looks. Tayama is former chief director of Yamamoto Europe and chief designer at Cacharel.

After fashion studies in Italy designer Silviya Dimitrova started working for prestigious textile companies in Como, but the ‘most important experience‘ after her, gained the Bulgarian creative at Maison Moschino in Milan. During that time, she met Massimiliano Neri, an eclectic designer and wine producer from Tuscany. The two decided to start a new project together— Silviya Neri was born.
