Ashish Gupta’s evident affinity with sequins is what continuously makes his collections one of the go-to conversation starters at London Fashion Week. This season, following his collaborations with Topshop and Nordstrom, his sequin-bedecked Spring / Summer 2015 collection channeled rainbow grunge with a hint of gingham. Creating all of his prints from the sequins themselves, it was almost hard to believe that the snake print fabric wasn’t genuine – apart from the odd sparkle of course.

Baggy silhouettes following ripped jeans and bejeweled tracksuits gave the collection a street wear vibe, seemingly keeping his clothing wearable after doing so successfully on the high street. Ashish showed us his humorous side, presenting sweatshirts with both sequined Kimye and Miley Cyrus towards the end. Ashish, as always, sticks to what he does best, and though each year we almost know what to expect, we’re never disappointed.
