Miyuki Ohashi is a Tokyo-based fashion illustrator currently working for Dior on various campaigns for ‘Dior Addict’. Miyu has also provided storyboards and several ‘Miss Dior’ films. Her next focus is a collaboration with a Japanese fashion brand.

How did you get into fashion illustration?

After studying fashion illustration for my major in art school in Tokyo, I
started my career as an illustrator. I’ve had many exhibitions at galleries in Tokyo.

What is your background?

I was born in Tochigi, Japan. After graduating from University with a degree in
French, I enrolled in art school in Tokyo.

Could you describe your style for me?

Simple and chic. I mainly use acrylic and ink.

Who are you favourite designers?

Christian Dior,Coco Chanel, Yves Saint Laurent, Alber Elbaz, Stella McCartney and many more.

What inspires you?

Fashion shows, photography (especially fashion photography), fashion magazines and blogs, classic icons like Brigitte Bardot or Audrey Hepburn.
