Asia Wysoczynska

Asia Wysoczynska graduated from the International Costume and Fashion Design School in Warsaw. The work of Dutch artist Anne Ten Donkelaar was the inspiration behind her latest collection titled ‘Broken Butterfly’. In essence, the designer is interested in the thin line between complex construction and fragility. The butterfly makes the impression of being ephemeral and delicate while representing a high level of engineering at the same time. Translating this concept into the language of fashion, the clothes with specific structural design can easily be distorted and change their shape despite appearing stiff and rigid.
