Christopher Shannon A/W13

Christopher Shannon’s Autumn / Winter 2013 collection highlights the blue, black and white colour palette on clean silhouettes, but with the playful twist of cartoon faces (brilliant one-eyed SpongeBob sweaters).

Experimenting with innovative textures and different fabrics uses, the designer was creating pieces as geometric collage – long tailed shirts and jeans (with addition of black and white tapes), knits and blue leather used in the classic way.

Although the sweatshirts and sweaters play a very important role in Shannon’s aesthetics, the attention during the show was drag by the outstanding jackets with removable zip elements (such as sleeves), which only makes us more excited about launching the womenwears line in the first half of the year.
