Sabine Pieper is a German fashion illustrator, currently based in Berlin. Sabine moved to the capital to study photography and worked in photography as a starting point of her career. However, she always kept her interest for drawing and fine arts. By combining her professional knowledge as a photographer with her passion for illustration, Pieper creates work that is truly striking and breathtaking.
Sabine often experiments and uses different techniques and combines hand-made illustrations with digital technology. For the campaign of Dutch textile company Vlisco, Sabine even used scanned 3D pictures of fabrics that she later manipulated in her work. As her work remains influenced by photographic techniques, a soft, almost unnoticeable use of mixed media has become her signature.
Pieper has also created illustrations for several publications and is a regular contributor to ELLE UK. She is also featured in books by Monsa and Gestalten.
