London-based Romanian designer Alexandru Adam initially started his carrer as an artist. After graduating with a BA in Product Design from Central Saint Martins in 2005, Adam pursued an MA in Fashion at the Royal College of Art, specialising in accessories.
After working for Thierry Mugler in Paris and being responsible for designing the entire accessories line as well as working on clothing and perfumes projects, Adam returned to London to launch his own accessories label which he named after himself.
The bags collection looks very elegant and has a handcrafted quality to it, with an unusual rigour and obsession for detail. It is also important to note that all the fur the designer used for the bags has been recycled from 1950s vintage fur coats.
