Contrast is the key to the Peachoo + Krejberg Spring / Summer 2014 collection, juxtaposing light and dark as the focal interest. The monochrome compilation of looks are strong and impactful, combining feminine drapery with innovative tailoring. Asymmetric silhouettes are commonplace; and some items of clothing are even deconstructed to create unusual architecture and textures.
The contrast of matte and glossy fabrics draws the eye to certain parts of the figure, highlighting their atypical arrangement of fabric on the body. Although some very similar aesthetically, each dress holds its own both hypothetically and, in many cases, structurally.
