The Central Saint Martins graduate Quoï Alexander now resides in Paris, where he works under his own namesake label, after he gained experience with the likes of Chanel, Sonia Rykel and Mary Katrantzou. Each piece he creates is worth examining for lengthy periods of time when you see all the details incorporated. His latest Autumn / Winter 15 collection is all about connecting to a primitive instinct. Surprisingly, all the work was done without sewing. Even more surprisingly, the prints were made using a mix of raw clay, mud and latex and applied by hand. It doesn’t get more primitive than that.
