Elina Määttänen A/W 15
In 2014, Elina Määttänen graduated from Aalto University School of Art, Design, and Architecture. She always found herself drawn to Japanese ideology and plays around with the security and freedom that comes with creativity and its rules and boundaries. She combines that with her fascination with workwear, military, and winter coats. Määttänen, a finalist at Festival d’Hyères in 2015, was mentioned by editor-in-chief of CR Fashion Book, Carine Roitfeld herself along with editor-in-chief of Purple Fashion Magazine, Olivier Zahm. The designer is also a finalist at International Talent Support 2015.
