Simone Rocha may come from a fashion family (her father is no other than John Rocha), however, she forged her own identity that is unlike anyone else’s. Born in Dublin, graduated with a BA in fashion from The National College of Art and Design, later with an MA from Central Saint Martins, Rocha was on the journey of discovering her design DNA which she masters so skillfully today. The aesthetic is girlie, edgy and sometimes even sinister in a good way. The clothes are wonderfully conceptual yet commercial, and let’s not forget her genius perspex brogues which became an instant sellout. Simone’s commitment to her aesthetic as well as her product has led her to be stocked at some of the most prestigious places in the world like Dover Street Market, Browns or Colette as well as to win awards from the British Fashion Council and creating collaborations with the likes of Jbrand.
