Graduate Fashion Week 2014

At the new location of The Old Truman Brewery, the 2014 Graduate Fashion Week took place from Saturday 31st May – Tuesday 3rd June. A range of talks and events took place over the four days, with catwalk shows from nearly 20 creative universities, and showcased work from over 1,000 graduates. Industry experts giving talks included specialists from Fashion Monitor, Drapers, Istituto Marangoni and Graduate Fashion Week Sponsor, George, as well as Agi + Sam, Gareth Pugh and Hilary Alexander.With 15 awards at stake, both relating to fashion design and fashion media-based subjects, the standards were extremely high and required a panel of highly-esteemed judges to make the final decisions – including our very own NoéMie. Topping off the last day of the extended-weekend, DASH Magazine held a pop-up studio in the basement of the Truman Brewery, snapping street-style photos of students, members of the public and fashion’s glitterati.
