Bas Kosters ‘Whaddup with this party?’
I was at a party recently, and I OD’ed on stripes, navy stripes to be exact. And the dress code wasn’t even nautical. Everybody is always ranting about celebrities wearing the same dress, but imagine going to a party and eight people are wearing the same thing as you. Of course people tend to wear the same random clothes on several occasions, like jeans, black suits or white shirts, but in the case of the classic French marine shirt, this does not go unnoticed. What would this wearer have thought at this moment? Maybe: “I’m so on trend” or “This is the biggest fashion faux pas”. They probably didn’t even notice, but I did, and OD’ed on stripes, navy stripes to be exact.
