Pringle of Scotland unveiled their monochrome knitwear collection for Autumn / Winter 15 during London Fashion Week at the Serpentine Gallery. The exhibition celebrated the brand’s bicentennial. With its chic and fine designs, creative director Massimo Nicosia has kept the collection understated this season with the return of knitwear as outerwear reflecting the quality of the brand.

Chic and sleek, highlighting its texture quality, the Scottish heritage brand known for its iconic argyle sweaters paid homage to the brand’s roots. Predominantly black, the collection was an ode to minimalism with a tinge of glamour and an edgy look – cable knit sweaters, oversized beading, raised bouclé, neat knee-length hemlines with slim fit trousers – a risk free collection for the season but each piece was a reflection of the label’s basic aesthetics presenting Pringle’s classic British persona.
