Illustrator of The Week – Paulo Melo

Paulo Melo is an Independent Communication Designer born in Arouca, a small village in Northern Portugal. Now based in Berlin, Melo works with different clients across a broad range of disciplines, including graphic and editorial design, art direction, illustration, photography and video. Marble was at the starting point for his latest series, with the idea of metamorphosis and reconstruction always present in his work. For his last series ‘Pure White’, he rendered swirls of colour and shape inspired by marble rock.
