DASH has teamed up with the talented London College of Fashion fashion illustration students to create a train of thought regarding the topic ‘Gender / No Gender’ to be expressed visually in an illustration underlining the upcoming artists’ style of line. After Dominika Drotos, Federica Micheli, Josie Payne, Kit Skellington and Robson Stannard and Xiuching Tsay, this week we feature work by Jessie Gardiner. About her illustrations she says:
‘The human figure endlessly intrigues me and my drawings have always been fairly linear, as I am interested in how lines relate to one another and correspond with tone, and I often use a colour wash to demonstrate this. By doing so I can convey a particular mood or sense in a style and medium I feel relevant, crucial to the piece’s success.’
