Fashion in Motion is a series of live catwalk events presented at the V&A, and we have seen Grace Wales Bonner, last week they hosted Ashish in a retrospective catwalk show in the Raphael Gallery. Celebrating ten years of shows presented at London Fashion Week this runway show featured a mix of looks from the last decade of Ashish’s collections, reliving the sunflower dresses (Spring / Summer 2012), rainbow sparkles (Autumn / Winter 2012), slashed, baggy denim (S/S 2014 collection), furred coats (Autumn / Winter 2015) and all things sequinned. ‘Going through my archives has been a fun and nostalgic experience,’ Ashish said, and it was a felicitous one, too.
