Designer Nobieh Talaei shows her Autumn/Winter 2016 collection at Berlin Fashion Week for her (almost) eponymous label Nobi Talai
This is a collection that SCREAMS expensive: from the boots to the choice of fabric and the colour range – is there anything more chic than 70s beiges, greiges and browns?
The most striking though is the attention to detail in cut and the precision of the tailoring and finishing. I am not sure if I have ever seen anything of this standard here in Berlin.
Here and there, an outfit might come across as a bit too laboured, but that might be a matter of styling – even the most slender model looks bulky in a floor-length faux-fur something. On the whole: an effortless effort.
