Too much of a good thing: Augustin Teboul present their collection for Autumn/Winter 2016 at Berlin Fashion Week

A day before the Augustin Teboul show I talked to a friend about their collections and how they’re always kind of the same: black (okay, they used nude a season or two ago), lots of handiwork with beads and such and a more or less obscure story of inspiration behind it.
And how that – in their case – is a good thing. Too much of a good thing is a wonderful thing, no? They found their niche, they’re always cool and seem to able to keep the balance between commerciality and art in their favour.

That doesn’t mean, their collections do not evolve. This season they practically go wild with colour. Again, well done.
