Alexis Mabille, a designer who truly loves a good gimmick, took the term “catwalk” quite too literally during his Autumn/Winter 2016 runway presentation at Paris Fashion Week. With a “cat-mouflage” pattern chambray fabric and black velvet cats on sweatshirts, one might have assumed the worst fate for this collection, had it not been for the more chic counterparts; a true Parisian woman would have adored the lacy slips and military-inspired outerwear combo.
