With 30 years of designing experience, Portuguese Miguel Vieira continues to create beautifully elegant, yet original collections, year after year. At ModaLisboa for Spring / Summer 2016 he showcases slick, streamlined suits and dresses, with a contemporary twist – repetitive blocky prints, almost resonant of a computer game, fill the clothes in boldly; an interesting combination of squares, diagonals and lines. The simple colour palette featuring mostly monochrome only enforces the simple yet strong approach. Whilst the focus is indefinitely on the geometric shapes, the collection remains sleek and sexy with deep necklines and a glimpse of leg. This luxurious designer certainly injects glamour to every look.
