Knowing that this season’s collection was inspired by the underground techno scene, one could hardly imagine a more minimalist aesthetic – but that’s exactly what Masha Ma delivered for her Autumn/Winter 2016 collection during Paris Fashion Week. And while there were several suit moments where the designer felt inclined to contrast with biker padding and zippers, the collection appeared at its best with the more athletic pieces, including extra-long-sleeve zipper jackets and cut-out sweatshirts that were more along the lines of what we would have rather seen.
