Inspired by the work of renaissance artists Donatello and El Greco, Vivienne Westwood’s Autumn/Winter 2016 collection fused fluid draping with flouncing details, rich colours of earthy green and khaki with prettier hues of deep blue, pink and soft grey. Abstract prints of manhole covers and colourful patchwork made this collection a textural and well-adjusted sight, while layered looks, pencil skirts and matching pantsuits called for a dressed-up moment or two.
