The small, authentic art fair Kunst Zürich looks back to its most successful event since its beginnings 22 years back. Roughly 23,000 visitors got inspired by over 70 galleries and 30 installations by Swiss artists. Though it was the newly introduced sector ‘Statement Swiss Art’, curated by Alexandra Blättler and featuring pieces from private collections and exhibiting galleries, which appealed most, as normally hidden art works were on show.

Located in an industrial hall of pioneering technology leader ABB, Kunst Zürich this year again managed to merge regionality with internationality under one roof, taken up in discussions called ‘The old town, the bronx, Beverly Hills and the mountains’ between Willy Spiller and Ewa Hess and led by Tobia Bezzola as well as ‘Parkett & Beyond’ with art publicist Jacqueline Burckhardt. ‘We’re delighted about the interest we see from the art scene and encouraged to continue next year with energy, conviction and expertise’, says Evelyne Fenner, Kunst Zürich founder.

Kunst Zürich will take place again next year 26th – 29th October 2017.
