Designer Antonia Goy shows her collection for Autumn/Winter 2017 at Berlin Fashion Week: If Dynasty (the 80s TV soap about the uber-rich and beautiful) were still a thing today, this collection is what their protagonists Alexis Colby and Krystle Carrington would be wearing.

There’s the fierce section – pink, orange, black, leather and sharp shoulders – for the bitchy vixen part of Alexis. And then there’s the section for her goody-two-shoes counterpart Krystle: blue and white stripes, grey, flowyness, Prince of Wales checks. You can easily see Krystle gliding down the massive stairwell in her mansion in one of Goy’s more subtle silhouettes.

The collection is by no means stuck in the past. Goy incorporates contemporary quirks that come as clever drapings, inserts or deconstructions.
