ANDAM, founded in 1989, is an association dedicated to indentifying and supporting emerging fashion talents whilst maintaining Paris’ presence as one of the fashion capitals of the world. Each year they present awards to rising contemporary designers, with the latest 2014 finalists having just been announced. The two prizes given out are the ANDAM Fashion Award, with a reward of €250’000, and the ANDAM First Collections Prize worth €75’000.
There are seven nominees for the ANDAM Fashion Award, out of which there will be one winner elected on 3rd July 2014. These consist of Etudes Studio, Rad Hourani, Jean-Paul Lespagnard, Fausto Puglisi, Steven Tai, Iris Van Herpen and Yiqing Yin. The three nominees for the ANDAM First Collections Prize are Coperni, Gauchère and Monographie.
