For Autumn / Winter 2013, Juun.J took traditional male outerwear and transformed it with outlandish shapes and original detailing. Anoraks, bomber jackets and Chesterfield coats got modern makeovers at the hands of the Korean designer.
Cocoon silhouettes and drop shoulders were pervasive throughout the entire collection, while oversized lapels and collars unfolded on models’ necks and shoulders. Materials were used in surprising pairings, such as casual denim or rock ‘n’ roll leather alongside plush wool. XXL knit stitches provided texture to a bulky jumper. There were also some on-trend digitally printed jumpers.
As a whole, the collection was perfectly in tune with the brand’s motto: ‘diversion of classic’.
