Effeminate psychedelic Berlin-based label GLAW emerged in 2011 after founders Jesko Wilke and Maria Poweleit graduated from ESMOD Berlin. Their inspiration and vision juxtaposes power with fragility – the epitome of a 21st century woman.

The label zoned in on tantalising textures of soft leather, fine silk and suede forMercedes-Benz Fashion Week Berlin Autumn / Winter 2014 with clashing pine green, provocative red and neutrals on silhouettes of the 1940s and ’50s feminists. Wilke and Poweleit stamp their mark with a bolder and braver turn with exuberance of confidence, but stay true to the form of femininity with hints of delicacy.
