London-based illustrator Frida Wannerberger trained at Central Saint Martins where she studied for her BA in graphic design with a focus on illustration. Her work is generally character-based subtly hinting at a narrative hidden within, reevaluating women’s body language in fashion imagery. Long perceived and portrayed as passive, Frida’s women aim to step out of their shadow demanding to be seen. Since graduating, Frida has worked on prestigious commissions for the likes of SHOWstudio, A Magazine or 1 Granary, continuously exploring the thin, dividing line between art and commerce and the realm of possibilities lurking in between.
