Corrie Nielsen Spring / Summer 2015 ‘The Single Girl’
American-born, UK-based designer Corrie Nielsen is a graduate from Central Saint Martins. Having worked for Vivienne Westwood, Nielsen has often been referred to as the next Alexander McQueen. Her Spring / Summer 2015 collection is an ode to the women of the 1960s. With a futuristic silhouette and metallic colour palette, including pale yellow silks and off white mohair, the collection is themed ‘The Single Girl’. In 2010, the designer was awarded with the Fashion Fringe Award (Colin McDowell’s London designer support platform) by John Galliano.
