The huntergather Spring / Summer 2015 collection ‘Move’ was a burst of ’70s colour with enough block hues and stylised patterns to rival Matisse. Cut-out soul-boy appliquéd motifs, evidently inspired by the recent Matisse exhibition at the Tate Modern, adorned block colour knitwear, tucked into full, high-waisted pleated trousers.

The curly perms and dance hall influence gave the collection a lively ’80s vibe, combined with youthful, contemporary styling that kept the modern summer energy. The clever use of tailored cool beige mixed within the stand-out solid colours ensured that the collection was one to be taken seriously – whether the jelly shoes did it for you or not.
