Homo Consommatus Spring / Summer 2015

Grey gets classier, silhouettes get a new structure and fashion gets a brand new meaning in the Spring / Summer 2015 collection of Homo Consommatus. Created by Alexey Sorokin, who hails from St. Petersburg, the brand uses unconventional subjects such as pollution and consumerism as inspirations to construct pieces which are utilitarian and harmoniously fit into the context of contemporary style. While the colour scheme remains muted, the greys, powder blues and pale pinks provide a perfect touch to the unique aesthetic that is achieved by using unusual, innovative materials through experiments with textiles and new production technologies. Homo Consommatus has received coverage in L’Official, In Style and Woman Russia.
