G.F Hawthorne Spring / Summer 2015 ‘New Predator On The Block’
Inspired by Dinovember, G.F Hawthorne’s Spring / Summer 2015 collection is a humorous representation of the brand’s chic yet sporty style. The Hawthorne identical twins, Grace and Faith, are Kingston graduates and hail from Northern Ireland. Getting inspired at a young age by their mother, who owned a dress making business, the girls always wanted to start their own line together. After collaborating on their graduate collection for Spring / Summer 2013, they launched their label G.F Hawthorne and recently presented their latest collection titled ‘New Predator on the Block’ which includes 3D dinosaur prints on skirts and tartan checked elements influenced by tartan dinosaurs. The colour palette is mostly white with a pop of orange and feminine shades like lilac for the patterns.
