Plakinger Autumn / Winter 2014
Founded by mother and daughter duo Galina Plakinger and Svetlana Ziggel, Plakinger reached their popularity through a modern and unpretentious approach to womenswear.
The pantsuit is the starting point for every one of their collections; the looks defined by classic tailoring and detailed cuts, inspired by menswear and androgyny.
The collections are designed and manufactured in their native Germany using selective high quality materials only, priding themselves on their classic blazer and pantsuit combination. Each piece is made with the intention of being classic and limited, 100% handmade with an exclusive feel, even sharing the same fabric suppliers as Dior and Chanel.
Vibrant material mixes and contrasting textures are running themes throughout all their collections, with elegant silhouettes and intricate detailing bringing together feminine classics and classic male tailoring. This Spring / Summer 2015 collection has been showcased during Paris Fashion Week last September, and Autumn / Winter 2015 will be presented in March in Paris.
