At the Kronprinzen Palais, Unter den Linden, Augustin Teboul held its photo exhibition for their Autumn / Winter 2015 collection, titled ‘Sound of Black’ during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Berlin. The German-French designer duo, Annelie Augustin and Odély Teboul, launched their brand in 2010 and this year for their collection the label portrayed its distinguishing pieces through the images of inspiring and famous people. Photographed by Stefan Milev, the 29 portraits reflect their individuality through the captured images. Iris Berben, Meret Becker, Donata Wenders, Peached and many more portray their persona and originality through the authentic designs from the collection.
‘Sound of Black’ is a presentation of the timeless silhouettes in a black palette; woolly, shiny and smooth, it represents a strong, bold and independent woman. With a hint of ’50s rock’n’roll with luxurious elegance to it, A/W15 is a playful experimentation with pop elements and an elegant composition.
Ausustin Teboul, with a combination of ready-to-wear and haute couture pieces along with Stefan Milev, whose photography echoes sensual poetry, have together presented different facets of a sophisticated collection with black as the clear theme to define the strong echo of femininity along with luxury and elegance.
