‘Seafever’, the aptly titled Spring / Summer 2015 collection by John Smedley, presented numerous nautically themed garments in a static presentation during London Collections: Men. Debuting their new dying technique, developed in celebration of 100 years of production at their mill, many of the clothes had stripes as their key feature, each uniquely and individually dyed.
The long-running knitwear brand, with around 230 years in the industry, utilised their strengths and experience to give the fisherman knit a contemporary renovation in the form of a new textured finish. The overall colour palette reflected the warm tones of the sea, with the obvious blue tones contrasting with sunset oranges and reds.
