Kenzo men's Spring / Summer 2014
New Wave is the inspiration for Japanese label Kenzo’s Spring / Summer 2014 collection, with bright, refreshing blues crashing over you in a collection that is formed of block jackets, swirl-infused overcoats and patterned shorts. Sketchy prints and typography are freely printed over jumpers and T-shirts, which add to the laid back sportswear feel.
The New Wave inspiration is clearly visible in some of the collection’s pieces through pattern and texture, whilst the limited colour palette of white, blue and grey – although seemingly muted – works well with the theme, with the odd explosion of red thrown in too.
