Fashion brand RIYKA uses a combination of materials like jersey and leather to construct garments in geometric shapes with vibrant contrasting colours. Creative East London’s art, jazz, photography and design scenes provoke inspirations for the label’s collections. RIYKA believes in a fair wage environment with some materials reclaimed while others are British sourced. Dutch cultural fashion photographer Vivian Sassen plays an influential role with her complex and energetic images, as can be seen in RIYKA’s recent collection for Spring / Summer 2014.
