Berkeley-based Mario Wagner is an artist and illustrator, whose stunning work was recently featured in the ‘Design’ section of DASH Magazine’s SS13 issue ‘Excess in Minimalism’.
Mario is currently collaborating with the STANDARD HOTEL in Downtown LA, Art.com and SNAPS, introducing us to his new and most recent project, the ‘Living Collage’. The image itself is a futuristic landscape that includes central characters. The concept of the ‘Living Collage’ begins with visitors taking photographs of themselves using the SNAPS app, and then to insert themselves as characters into the piece, creating odd and unique images. Visitors can then share their images via social media networks.
