Lidija Kolovrat has an eye for detail and her Autumn / Winter 2015 collection showcased at Moda Lisboa made this very clear. In this collection she bases her main inspiration on the philosophy of evolution saying that ‘random mutations provide variations that help species survive’. This way of thinking gives meaning and value to the many embellishments her garments hold. The cuts and silhouettes are elegant and fun, and the mixed fabrics, combined with leather and printed graphics, made this collection not only playful, but simultaneously rather sophisticated.
