Handmade in Tyrol, Austria, Rolf completely avoids the use of metals and plastics using wood or wood / stone combinations instead. What began in 2007 as an experiment in a basement has gone on to receive numerous international accolades including recognition from the optics market winning the Silmo d’Or in the ‘Technology and Innovation’ category at the Paris SILMO in 2009.
