The multi-faceted collection by the London-based brand Baartmans and Siegel is all about sporty elements and classic soft tailoring, merging ageless elegance with modern masculinity.

For Autumn / Winter 2013, trademark pieces are trench and parka coats with fur trims that come from Danish firm Kopenhagen Fur. By mixing stiff wool, colourful plastic and soft fur, the designers present the idea of the urban explorer, who is not only sophisticated but also pays attention to functional details, such as the amount of pockets, breathable fabrics and water resistance.

At last, the whole collection pays tribute to the current tendency in contemporary fashion to fuse fine craftsmanship with technology, which is highlighted in the most recognisable piece – the feather down quilted bomber jacket in translucent plastic.
