Sandrine Pagnoux is a French graphic designer and illustrator currently based in Paris. As a child, she always loved being creative and, after a few courses in France and Spain as well as a career in fashion, Sandrine decided to become a freelance artist in 2005 and focus entirely on making art.
Her work is a mixture of photography, scribbles, drawings and handwritten words, and she strongly dislikes smooth and perfect lines and things – rather Sandrine prefers it when all is raw and she does that by following her instinct. Sandrine is strongly influenced by Sophie Echart saying: “Using her photography, my work becomes stronger.”
Sandrine has worked for many companies such as Harrods, Diesel and Le Coq Sportif and her work has been published in magazines including Nylon Guys,Zoot and Marie Claire France, however she doesn’t want to make too many concessions to stay herself, protect her childhood and her dreams. Her ambition is ‘to wake up the senses, stir the soul and convey emotion’.
Sandrine’s work will also be published in the third issue of DASH Magazine.
