Olympia Le Tan A/W 15
It’s hard not to fall head-over-heels in love with anything that Olympia Le Tan creates. She now has cult following due to her genius idea of making literature fashionable by recreating classic book covers. There is something nostalgic about them, as they remind you of books you would read as a child (such as Alice in Wonderland), but they are created in the utmost luxurious way with hand embroidery, print-lining, and exquisite detail. The designer eventually branched out to ready-to-wear that combined her dual French-British heritage. It doesn’t hurt that she trained with the likes of Karl Lagerfeld and Gilles Dufour.
