Bas Kosters ‘Why Did You Do That?’
Oh my, oh my… what are you wearing? Everybody in fashion is looking all kinds of fly wearing their bathing slippers and white sporting socks; even Prada’s collection referenced this trend with embellished plastic sandals worn with knee-high socks. What strikes me is that if your father wore something like that, you’d probably think that look sucks big time. Which it maybe does. It’s quite remarkable how we perceive clothing and the meaning it’s given by the wearer. How something considered ‘not done’ can be embraced by the fashion community. And the things that we considered quite odd looking can look so good on the right person. Oh fashion, you’re driving me crazy.
