Basharatyan V Spring / Summer 2014
The colour palette is the main reason behind Basharatyan V‘s collection title for Spring / Summer 2014, ‘Frida’. Inspired by Mexican artist Frida Kahlo’s paintings, the clothes projected hints of neon brights, vivid and pastel colours as well as intriguing prints.
Veronica Basharatyan used delicate silk chiffons to form halter necks and floating skirts and dresses that paid stunning tribute to the female form. The designer’s signature ‘ribbon knit’ made an appearance in the form of a clutch bag this season. Designed in London, the brand offers hand-finished luxury garments for the discerning and independent woman.
