Colourful, bright and flirtatious – Typical Freaks are known for their bold collections with loud colours. The brand’s Spring / Summer 2017 collection was a bag of happiness, and with its beautiful and vibrant clothing, there was no lack of any fun.
The conceptual brand from London was founded by UAL graduates Seun Ade-Onojobi and Sonia Xiao and propagates fashion as a form of art while providing craftsmanship and integrity through design.
With the colour palette consisting of the three primary shades – red, blue and yellow – and loose fitted clothing, the emerging brand presented their collection through a girl gang birthday party. Doodle prints on skirts, oversized tops and dresses, this summer season’s designs were a reminder of childhood creativity. With balloons, party poppers, confetti and cheeky smiles, it was a fashion party worth attending.
