Ashish’s Spring / Summer 2014 collection was a pure celebration of everything international and the multicultural nature of London. That explains the Arabic, African and Indian references on the runway – for example chunky jewellery, caftan-like robes and crowns.This season Ashish Gupta’s vision moved further towards the street, with ripped and torn denim rendered in his trademark sequins, coupled with jersey pieces and shiny animal print jumpsuits with sporty stripes being mirrored in the models’ hair. Other looks to note included loose denim trousers in rainbow sequins and a zebra and leopard print dress.
