The likely rule breaker Christian Cowan-Sanluis launched his third collection at London Fashion Week while still studying at London College of Fashion. He expressed his sense of humour and playfulness through experimenting on a wide range of materials and textiles with eye-catching colours. Pop and online culture – or anything that’s fun – would have been Christian’s constant inspiration, and for this season he chose Barbie. The bold, young creative has made Autumn / Winter 2014 feel both edgy and glamorous with outrageous dolly-pink suits playing with glitter plastics, fur and denim combined with giant avant-garde hats.
