One of the first illustrators to collaborate with DASH Magazine on its launch issue, while also featuring in the most recent AW14 issue, Turkish-born Meriç Canatan refined her aptitude for collage and fashion illustration whilst studying Fine Arts at Ankara Anatolian High School in Turkey. A six-year degree in Textile and Fashion Design at Mimar Sinan University gave her a taste of what was to come, and fuelled her desire to find a context to apply her adept talent. Her signature collage style comprises of fashion editorials superimposed against natural forms and embellished with cutouts and precise layering.
